Welcome to Sandhaus and Sheppard Racing Driver Stu Sandhaus became involved in drag racing in 1961 and has been involved in the sport for most of his adult life. Stu has built, tuned and driven various types of cars running in NHRA Stock, Super Stock, Street Eliminator, Competition Eliminator and Pro Comp style classes - cars ranging in performance from 16 second ET full bodied cars to 6 second dragsters running at speeds over 200 MPH. He has owned and operated a full service speed shop specializing in building and tuning high performance engines for drag racing. Stu teamed with Ron Sheppard, a long time drag racer and classic car enthusiast, to form Sandhaus and Sheppard Racing. Their current drag racing effort is a front-engine nostalgia dragster that has already demonstrated impressive performance and exciting potential. The Sandhaus and Sheppard team, including crew members John Kuzniar, Bobby Sheppard and Ross Santora, combines a passion for drag racing with over 150 years of combined racing and high-performance experience.
